We are strengthening Ouman R&D team with Project Manager – Turku or Rauma (POSITION FILLED)
An exciting opportunity has now arisen within our R&D team as a Project Manager. You will be working on projects developing connected product solutions including product device software, AWS based cloud and mobile apps.
Job description
In this role you will be leading an R&D product development project all the way from the requirements definition to final product delivery. Typical projects include physical product electronics and mechanics with SW ranging from embedded code to modern IoT cloud services and mobile apps. You will work within R&D organization consisting of 36 professionals and operate in customer, sales, product management and production interface.
Ideally you have already gained working experience as a design engineer and have started or are interested to start your next career step as a project lead. You will have great opportunity to grow your professional competences within experienced project manager team providing support and guidance. Step by step you will start contributing to project quotations, creating project requirement specifications, planning, and executing the project to meet technical, quality, and financial targets and managing the product handover to production.
You are interested in learning and developing yourself, have good communication skills and work fluently with customers. You will manage project team tasks and activities, have a practical can-do attitude, and you are dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Key qualifications
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. engineering education (electronics, software or automation)
• 2-4 years practical design engineer work experience in relevant industry
• Basic understanding of electronics, SW design and IoT cloud technologies
• Well organized, self-imposed working attitude with interest to further develop your competences and capabilities
• Good communication skills and willingness to take responsibility
• Fluent English and Finnish is mandatory, Swedish and other languages are considered a plus
